Is anyone else having trouble getting iOS download?

It seems as though the only way to download xcode from apple is to join the developer subscription. There is no longer a download button for the single download. Is anyone else able to find it. I get stuck in a continuous loop where i keep getting send back to a page without a download button.

If you want xcode but don't want to cough up the $99, you can follow this link ( http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xcode/id422352214?mt=12 ) to download it for $5. With this you can simulate your buzztouch iPhone apps and see how the changes you make in your control panel affect your app. You will eventually need a developer account ($99) if you plan on selling your apps in itunes however.

Haha wow! I see what you mean. Well, that USED to be the link to download it. Not sure if they are having a problem, or if they decided to only sell xcode as part of a developer account...

I'm confused by this thread. I just looked in the App Store (not the mobile app store, the App Store on my MacBook) and had no trouble finding the latest version of Xcode for sale for $4.99. I did find a few discussions online about the latest release of OX X Lion having trouble running Xcode but nothing about it not being available. @ cookbookconfessional: What am I missing?

If you look at the page, it does say that you can buy it for $4.99. But there is no buy or download button anymore. If you click on the View in Mac App Store button It takes you to another page that asks you to sign up for the membership at $99 or buy it for $4.99 without the membership. If you click on that button, you are sent back to the first page where your only option is to view it in the app store. The button is no longer there to execute the download.

This wouldn't be the first time (or the last) there's a problem with apple related sites! I always have issues with iOS Dev in various browsers on various computers.
