1 target, missing base SDK

Hey all, First time poster, first time user - and clueless. But hey! When importing my app I made on Buzztouch to Xcode, it comes up saying: ProjectCT 1 target, missing base SDK Whats wrong with it, and how do I fix it? (I know its probably a very easy fix, but this is my first time and I really am clueless....) Thanks a Million! MAT.

Hi. Not sure about that MacApple type name, hmmm. You'll find a few forum threads on your topic buddy, have a look through and you'll cure what ails you. IF you are still stuck add what you tried to this thread and someone will jump in. Fail, fail again, fail better.

Couldn't find any fixes... Going to reinstall it all, see if it was a software glitch :)

Are you sure you are changing build settings in Xcode? There is a drop down menu on top left that should list your available SDKs.

Well they were there.. and i changed a few times .. got the app to build and run OK. (even though there was the missing SDK message) Then there was an error or two and now there are only two SDK's available .. 4.3's .. and a bunch of errors I dont understand :).. praps I better clean up and start again ? eatlocal /Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/source/MyCLController.m 'getDistanceFrom:' is deprecated (declared at /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator4.3.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreLocation.framework/Headers/CLLocation.h:251) /Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/source/TwitterRequest.m 'NSErrorFailingURLStringKey' is deprecated (declared at /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator4.3.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/Foundation.framework/Headers/NSURLError.h:46) /Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/config/eatlocalAppDelegate.m 'locationServicesEnabled' is deprecated (declared at /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator4.3.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreLocation.framework/Headers/CLLocationManager.h:124) file://localhost/Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/config/eatlocalAppDelegate.m: warning: Lexical or Preprocessor Issue: Extra tokens at end of #import directive file://localhost/Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/config/eatlocalAppDelegate.m: warning: Semantic Issue: Using the result of an assignment as a condition without parentheses file://localhost/Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/config/eatlocalAppDelegate.m: warning: Deprecations: 'locationServicesEnabled' is deprecated /Users/simon/Downloads/30-06-2011/buzztouch_v14_iPhone_BD569673ED670DCAA00F373E/eatlocal.xcodeproj Missing SDK in target eatlocal: iphoneos4.2

There is a video in your control panel dealing with the base SDK missing problem. Click on your email on the upper right of the screen and scroll down.

In Xcode 3 or 4 in the left hand window that shows you files: Classes, resources, Frameworks, etc. the top file is Target (blue icon). Click this and open the Build Settings tab. Go to the Base SDK and make sure the lastest is selected.
