ianJamesPiano Code is Art Posts: 2661 Reg: Feb 13, 2011 Palm Springs, C... 37,010	confirm \| cancel 06/29/11 03:33 PM (14 years ago) iads background image Trying to figure out an issue with iads...this seems to only be an issue on ipads and not iphone on iPad when clicking on iads (this is an app already in the store with iads) the screen turns black when returning to app. after talking with a few forum members it seems that using a global background image might be the problem and that by putting the image as background in each screen might solve this. does this sound like it could be the problem? make any sense? thanks! The tough part is the simulator almost never shows any ads so it's tought diagnose. I don't remember, are the iAds clickable in the sim? If so, I guess it would be easy enough to step-by-step go through it figure out where the issue is (in Xcode, console open). The life-cycle of the screen's a tough concept to get your head around. When does the screen render itself, how it works, etc. Complicated. Adding iAds on top of this changes it even more. I'll be able to look into this in more detail at some point (on another business trip) if you haven't figured it out. Post the app name + the screen name and I'll get it figured out when I get to the next free wi-fi I can steal from Starbucks ;-) Comments I guess anything 'could' be the problem, not sure like everyone else. There are a couple iads that are specific problems.
