I am working on an Android application for the online radio station that I do a lot of work for and we use Shoutcast to broadcast our streams. I've looked through some other posts but none of them seem very promising. As far as I can tell with Shoutcast there is no way to stream straight as mp3 The main way it streams is by a .pls file. I know there are other apps that can stream them, like Xiia Live, but we really want this to work in our own mobile app. Is there anyway to possibly do this now, or in 1.5 when it releases? And yes I do want it to continue streaming when you lock the phone. Thanks in advance Title Comments So yeah the title says most of it. Not sure if it is possible with a .pls though, but it should be. You could then either embed that as an HTML/Text page, or an HTML doc. We do hope to support it in v1.5 but havn't not got very far with it yet.
