Will Apple approve a localized App?

I was asked to create an app with for a local business which basically provides a way for its customers to view the businesses schedule. It would be a free app. Will Apple allow such an app since its target audience is so small in scale? I don't want to engage if Apple will never approve it anyway. Does anyone else have experience/advice with this?

Apple won't approve apps that are perceived as advertising only, which is what this sounds like. I've seen good localized apps and I'm working on a couple, but you need to give customers more than just basic promotional information. Here's an example of a localized app (I didn't do this one, but its a decent example): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/san-jose-bar-and-grill/id432333945?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4 I did one for my own company that was rejected by apple for being just an advertisement. It contained video streams of projects I've done, samples of art projects, contact information and descriptive info of the business (it's an advertising agency). Apple rejected this one, so I'll probably re-work and figure out some more interactive content. Hope this helps.
