Do i have to upload all graphics and sound to BuzzTouch onlineT v1.5? Or could i just add the graphics later in BT folder?

Dear all BT-ers, I'm Andre from Indonesia. Really need your comment here. I'm making an app with BT v1.5. There will be about 3,700+ images and 1,000+ pages of text in 257 categories. I think it's a huge amount of file :) If i upload the file to the BT, it will be stored in your servers, right? Then with too much file (maybe) like what my app will be, it will be a burden to your server and make my app run slower (maybe). So i really need my app to store all of its data (both graphics and text) within the app itself (i called it locally stored, not online stored...sorry for my bad English) The question is simple, should i upload them all? Or could i create just 257 categories, like Apple, Blackberry, Citrus, Durian, Eustacea, etc...then later add that 3,700+ images and 1,000+ text in each categories in BT folder when compiling the source code in XCode? Thank you very much for all the reply.

Hi Andre. I'm inclined to say you should probably look at throwing all of those graphics onto your own sever, you have a website you host, yes? You can setup the folders online and call the images from the app when it is being used. You can also set the app up to cache the images on device or not so you have full control over the which folders and images download and save the data to the App.

@andre - you can't upload those files to us. Basically the only files of yours on our server are the config file and app icon file. You will have to either link to your image/text files using a URL address as MacApple suggested, or you can embed them in the project file itself. (Note: The project file is downloaded form buzztouch to your computer. YOU then upload the file to whichever market you choose, not us) If the files are linked via URL, your end user's experience will be determined by their internet connection to wherever you host the files. If you embed, depending on the size of your files, this could make for a pretty painfully long app install. The strain on our server/database comes when 1,000's of apps refresh in simulators/devices within a short time-span. We are working to add to our backend, as well as working some coding magic to help alleviate this growing pain.

@MacApple: Hi, MacApple. Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate it. Yes, i have several websites-but what i really want is embedding 3,700+ images and 1,000+ page of text in the app itself. It's localization, am i right? Because i want to make my app don't need internet connection. @Parker: Thank you very much for the reply. I appreciate it so much. Could you please tell me how to embedding the graphics and text to my app? ;) Thank you very much.
