my update finally went through and iAds are live on my app (ERres)! Sometimes the ads come really quickly, other times I can wait minutes and nothing appears. This is normal from what I've seen on this discussion board. The really strange thing is I've tried clicking on a few of the ads and once it crashed my app completely and another time the ad crashed but in the process it changed my app's background color from blue to black. And since my app is disconnected from buzztouch there's no refresh button. Luckily when I turned the phone off and on it was back to normal. Weird.

I guess it's good that iAds are finally working. From what we've been hearing, I'm not too impressed with iAds and really REALLY wish we could get the other ad partners supported faster than we've been able too. Sigh....I guess just wait and see how much $ you earn vs. how much crashing / complaints you here about and decide then what the best long term solution is.

iAds working fine in my app but yes changes background color to black which overrides any background screen image...so my info screen is unreadable so i might do another update with the actual image as part of the info screen not background and see how that goes...having tons of fun creating tho so no worries!!

This is good to know. In order to make a app that survive crashes where the background changes to black it seem to me that it's a good idea to keep the fonts in a light color. @ianjamespiano - couldn't agree more. This is by far one of the funniest thing to create, much thanks to BT.

Well it's been a week and so far not overly thrilled with iAds. No complaints from customers regarding crashes but my overall revenue for 8 days is just over $3. My app has over 2000 ussers (judging by last update) but of course I don't know how often they open the app and actually see the ads. Time will tell...
