v1.5 problem with configuration data

The app I was trying to create came up with a screen that read There was a problem with parsing some data. Please make sure that it is well formed. when I was refreshed it. I went on to delete the new sections that I created before the refresh and refreshed the page again but the error message persisted. Till then, I was still able to view the app and it was functioning correctly after I clicked 'ok' to close the window. When I closed xcode and the simulator and reopened the file, a new message The configuration data for this application is invalid appeared. Unable to continue working on the app, I deleted it and restarted my project from scratch. This time, I made sure I'd refresh the simulator every single time I make any changes right from the start to try to identify the source of the error. The same message There was a problem with parsing some data. Please make sure that it is well formed. appeared again after I added a 3rd degree sub-menu. I deleted it and refreshed the simulator but the error persisted. When I closed xcode and reopened it, it read The configuration data for this application is invalid. again and I was unable to view the app at all. All that appeared was a black blank screen. Both times I made no changes to any of the data in xcode. And the only change I made via buzztouch was to insert a new sub-menu. Please help, its kinda frustrating when you're like halfway through finishing the app and this happens and you've gotta start from scratch again. Thanks.

Edit, now that I've closed xcode and posted this message, I decided to try opening the app again, it works. =.=lll But the error message There was a problem with parsing some data. Please make sure that it is well formed. still appeared. Sigh.

Okay I think I might have found the error... I used a curvy bracket {} in the sub menu when the error appeared... Would it cause xcode to parse it as something else because of the curvy brackets used? When I replaced the curvy brackets with square brackets the error message was gone.. Hmm... Anyways I really do hate code =p hahahahaha

You hate code but dig around in it at midnight for fun. Funny... we'll convert you before too long. If something's not right with the configuration data it's usually easiest to start at the root of the trouble. a) Control Panel > Core > Show Configuration Data b) Copy this to you mouse (view source when the config data window opens so you can copy the raw text) c) Visit the site: http://jsonlint.com/ and past your JSON data in the box - Validate. Is is OK? The solution will depend on the results of that.
