In app functionality

Hey there fellow buzz-a-naughts.. I'm loving the buzz and have my app all neat n tidy.. Now I've decided to add some in-app content.. Seems pretty easy to hook up with iConnect and such.. My question is there anyone out there in the buzz world that has implemented in-app purchasing using buzztouch that would be willing to chat Essentially I will upload all the content and just unlock bundles as required by a user I'm thinking simply to have greyed out menu items with a lock icon.. That when clicked go to a unlock me yes/no screen to trigger the apple side Not sure what happens if a user wants two or more bundles!! That would be nice too Thanks in advance Phil New Zealand

We've not done this here but do understand the concept. I think the challenge you'll have is figuring out what the user has purchased and what they have not. The control panel does a good job of allowing you to purchase content but doesn't offer any help in terms of shopping cart logic. Not sure what to advice. In all cases you'll end up impelemnting some of your own Objective C Classes and views to manage the in-app purchase experience.

download this free app called 'piano guy' click lessons.. you will see the menu list.. four items have a play icon, the rest have a lock icon and the text is greyed.. if you click on a locked menu item the next screen gives you a purchase or decline option.. so the shop is essentially a list and you purchase to unlock.. once purchased the menu list changes to the play icon [from locked] so yes I guess there will be some code I will need to do over and above the buzz basics hopefully someone will pop up who can help.. in the meantime ill box on phil
