Uploading Excel Doc Problem

Hello, I am trying to upload an Excel file and i get the following error: Only .XLS/strong> (Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet) files are allowed. This message means you tried to upload a file that was not an acceptable format. I have double checked that i have excel file with the right extension. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong ? Can there be a version conflict ? 2003, 2007 etc ? Thanks and regards, Faz

Could be a conflict...not sure. What control panel are you using? buzztouch v1.4 or v1.5? You could try to re-save the document in an older version of Excel. Like open > Save As > Office 2003 or something?

No extensions, as in no extensions when you look at it on your computer? If you're using windows, you'll need to be sure your folders are setup to 'not hide known file types' to see the file extension. You could also 'view properties' I think. I can say that hundreds of excel docs are uploaded each day and we havn't heard of an issue recently. Probably a file-format issue.

Can you not have any formatting in the excel doc? I am getting the same error message when trying to upload an excel file.... Only .XLS/strong> (Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet) files are allowed. This message means you tried to upload a file that was not an acceptable format.
