HTML Doc local file issue

I have added a local file screen to my project and referenced an HTML file that I placed into BT_Docs when I load the app in the simulator and goto that screen I get...Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. Any ideas what would cause that?

I tried to rename the sample.html file to sample1.html and that did not work either. If you let the screen use sample.html as it's file it works great. If you change it at all it bombs. Any clues?

Figured it out. I totally forgot that not only do you have to drag the files into BT_Docs but you also need to drag the files into the BT_Docs in your actual Xcode project.

If you just drag it into the xcode project BT_Docs it should offer the option to make a reference to file or to copy to project. So no need to do both as such.

I'm battling with this, I'm getting the same error as above despite using v1.5 and copying the html file to BT_Docs but still no joy. I've tried using all of the following: {itemNickname:Archive, itemId:657007CB3936B14401C09CB, itemType:BT_screen_customHTML, dataURL:archive.html, navBarTitleText:Archive, hideFromSearch:0, includeAds:0}, {itemNickname:Archive, itemId:657007CB3936B14401C09CB, itemType:BT_screen_customHTML, localFileName:archive.html, navBarTitleText:Archive, hideFromSearch:0, includeAds:0}, I thought maybe the formatting of my html may be the issue, but Dreamweaver has no issues but I tried referencing the sample.html also located in the BT_Docs folder like so: {itemNickname:Archive, itemId:657007CB3936B14401C09CB, itemType:BT_screen_customHTML, dataURL:sample.html, navBarTitleText:Archive, hideFromSearch:0, includeAds:0}, No matter what I try I still get the error Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. Someone, please help.

Are you copying the file into BT_Docs via finder or xcode? If you do it through xcode then (as MacApple) pointed out, all will be right with the world because it will copy AND reference the file. Drag and drop from the source folder to BT_Docs in xcode.

I can't believe I didn't see the option for HTML Doc, I was using Custom HTML by mistake, I just needed to remove the Custom HTML page and add a new HTML Doc and hey presto, true offline content. Many thanks, for putting up with my daft questions :-)
