Duplicate page / duplicate app - are they coming?

David, will the option to duplicate a screen in our app and/or duplicating an app possible or coming in the future of buzztouch? I think duplicating an app can help some/all of us to make free versions of our apps easily. And duplicating a screen can be helpful also, so we wouldn't have to adjust the advanced settings for all of the similar screens again and again. Oh and, will you be categorizing the forum like, iOS and Android, and maybe some sticky posts? Maybe I'm asking too much but I think buzztouch will be better and to do repetitive stuff will be easier :)

I would love the option to duplicate an App. It shouldn't be too hard to implant, either.

Hi guys. Yes, these are coming. We've fallen waaaaaay behind on a few control panel features, these being two of them. Android v.15 is taking lots of resources and as such has prevented us from doing much on the control panel lately. Parker, our newest teammate has already begun to categorize thousands of forum posts so a new and improved way to find posts should be coming soon. Duplicating apps and screens is has been 'nearly done' for many weeks not but just isn't quite right. We'll get there....

Until duplicate apps comes out, I found my little solution: 1. Create a new project 2. Download the project, install it to your devices (Note: Disable GPS in settings if you'd like) 3. Do whatever you want to the project. Just refresh the App on your device(s). 4. Once you're done with your app/project, disable all connections to BuzzTouch. Remove the Data URL, Cloud URL, and Screen data. 5. Download the new project, submit it to the App Store 6. You can now change the project without the App you submitted being changed. I managed this by hosting everything (HTML docs, images, etc) on DropBox - Which I created a tutorial for. Works fine.

@ tonycelestino: I don't think an actual tutorial was made. It's a matter of: a) Creating a v1.5 app. b) Use the Core Properties link to get the configuration data for the app. This is the 'show confiugration data' link. Save this data as a text file. c) Put that file on your DropBox and copy the URL d) Enter the URL to the file in the buzztouch control panel in Core Properties, Configuration Data URL Download project, compile, run. Hope this makes sense. The idea is that you would then use the buzztouch control panel to make changes but the changes would not be seen in the mobile app until you updated the file on your DropBox
