Buttons/Labels chopping when clicking 'back' from the image gallery in v1.5, IOS

Hi there - any advice would be greatfully received :) I've had my app compiled by a developer (IOS) and am currentlying viewing the IPA file on my iphone. All looks great except one thing: I have a series of 'button' pages, all of which have a backgroud image, black buttons, white icons, and text labels below the icons themselves. When I click the buttons into the various sub-sections all is fine...except when i click onto the image gallery (all my button pages have a relevant image gallery), when i click 'back' in the top bar from the image gallery, the bottom half of my buttons, and the text labels disappear....its like the bottoms have be chopped in a straight line. I hope this makes sense...don't know all the 'tech speak' :) many thanks

Hello Joanne, Could you kindly include a link to a screen shot of the issue? Replicate the issue and hold down the home and power button at the same time and you will hear a click. Then upload to dropbox or any other file hosting site and post the link. Also, please include what device are you running the app on.

Looks like to me, for some reason the bottom Nav bar, that appears to be set to hide/transparent, is laying on top of part of the area the buttons occupy. Not sure why it would function this way. Not going to be able to do it soon, but I will try and recreate the issue in an app and see if I can help you resolve it.

Ha no worries :) all a bit new to me, don't expect anyone to do the work for me though!! I'm going to have a play with it tonight and will email you the outcome :) Funny thing is, i've sized my gallery images as square (1024 x 1024) so they can be rotated, and the cut off point on the bottom of the screen is exactly the same as the chop off point on my icons...so i'm gonna try resizing the images in the gallery to see if that does anything - maybe completely unrelated but maybe worth a try! thanks again for all your support! jo

Hi...I'm back! So, I think @ erichopf is correct. I'de bet this button menu is a screen that loads with the 'hide bottom tab bar' option. I say this because the back button is showing in the top left, meaning was part of another menu. @ joanne774: Do this a a test before we dig too deep... a) Load the first menu b) Load the next menu, the one that shows the buttons c) Tap a button to load a gallery d) Tap back, at this point the buttons should be cut-off, like you showed. c) Scroll the menu left / right / up / down, however it will move. Be sure to try to scroll the buttons horizontally too. Drag the crap out of the screen! LOL. Re-post your findings...It may or may not change anything, just need to know to help figure out the issue.

Hi David, Thanks for getting in touch! :) Yes the buttons will move in any direction, an i can see the labels too so they're still there. Its as if there is a letterbox size space, and i can move the buttons around within - but the space isn't tall enough for me to ever see the whole button and label in one view... hope this helps! Cheers, Jo
