Hello folks, Someone downloaded one of my 1.5 apps for iphone/ipad to their itunes. They have an ipad touch which is not connected to the internet. They transferred the app from itunes to the ipod touch, but it won't play and gave the error 'cannot find internet connection'. For BT 1.5 apps downloaded via iTunes, does the user also need an internet connection for the ipod (wifi I guess, at least once) to work the app on their ipod? Thanks a million, ELaine.

Depends on how the app you created is setup. Are the pages, files, etc. you included in your app pointing to content on the web/server, or to content you uploaded into xcode folders? I'm pretty sure that if everything is self contained within the xcode project you will only need an internet connection once to download the app from itunes. Otherwise you'll be dependent on an internet connection.

The app has a few pics in the code itself (dropped into xcode) and then text being pulled from the text pages in buzztouch. No links to websites from the app, no content being pulled from any websites other than buzztouch itself. So not sure whats wrong. When you start any BT app for the first time on your iphone, regardless of content, does it need an internet connection to start up? Thanks :)

Thank you :) So am I right in thinking for 1.5, standard app, content pulled from the BT website only, even if you download to itunes and sync to a device, you still need internet access on that device at least once to make the app play? If so, grand but I just need to write that in my app descriptions on iTunes for the unfortunate non-internet enabled ipodtouch users out there!
