What Format is the Map Sample Locations TXT File In??

BT Gang, What format is this file in? http://www.buzztouch.com/applicationScreens/sample-locations.txt Do you know of a tool that would help me build a file like this quickly, I have several hundred locations I'd like to ad. Thank you! Ian

I believe the data within the .txt file is in JSON format. Not sure on a tool though, try Google. :)

@Parker, good call, JSON indeed. @ weztcoazt: Good question. I'm a web programming fan and whip-up .PHP scripts to automate tasks like this for me. However, a novice or non-programmer would likely struggle with this approach. If you have a spreadsheet of locations you could try this tool: http://tamlyn.org/tools/csv2json/ From the looks of it, it will take your spread sheet and do what you want. Be sure to a) Make the colum names in your file exactly the same as the expected format. This means you'll need these colums (and ONLY these columns): itemId, itemType, latitude, longitude, title, location, subTitle If you want the map callout to show a driving directions button, add one more column: loadScreenWithItemId and set it's value in all the columns to 'showDirections' Lastly, after it outputs the results, be sure it's wrapped in a childItems object so the final output is as expected.
