Disable double click?

Hi, I've created a custom html/text page, however is it possible to disable the zooming that happens when the screen is double clicked as it messes up the layout? I've tried the following code in the head to fix the viewpoint, but it doesn't seem to work: <meta name=viewport content=width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; minimum-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;> Any suggests would be great Rohan

Are you using version 1.5? If so you can go to the advanced properties and look at document behavior. There is an option to prevent all interactions including taps and pinches. Maybe this would give you the desired effect? Haven't tried it myself...

Hi Mutzy Thanks for the idea - I am using v1.5, however I have a couple of buttons that need to respond to a single click, which the feature you mentioned disactivates.

Ok think I've found the cause of the problem, it's in the Zoom setting (it’s in Settings > General > Accessibility). This seems to override the viewings setting.

@Rohan: I'm surprised that user-scalable=0 didn't do the trick. I've used this lots. You could try google for Mobile Safari meta tags?
