Is there a way to keep it from downloading the PDF's and other pages again if they were not changed in the update? Firstly, it depens on what version of buzztouch you're running. I'll assume v1.4 because you have an Android avatar and v1.5 is not yet supported on Android. In v1.4 there isn't an easy way to do this. You could hack around in the code a bit and make some changes but it would be a technical challenge for all but an experienced programmer.
