Free Trial

Hi, Is it possible to set up the app to allow a free trial or limited features for the free version? Does this happen on the app side or the marketplace side? Thanks! Michael

I've seen quite a few apps set up with a free version and a paid one. I believe however that they are two separate apps and must be downloaded from the app store separately. It should be fairly easy to do though. Just create and upload your free app first and then add features for the paid version which you will upload second.

I'd also suggest putting a Get the full version button in the free app, pointing to the location of the full version in MarketPlace.

Michael, It will become much easier once Android 1.5 is out on BT and then the BT folks are aiming for a copy app feature, so you can make a free app, then copy it and add more content for the paid version.
