Customize Menu List?

Hi David. I wonder if it's possible to load a background image into every row of the tablelist?

You can do whatever you want with the table rows. Each row is a BT_cell_menuList.m object. These objects are sub-classes of the built in UITableViewCell object. This means the file BT_cell_menuList.m is the file you'll want to modify to add a background image to the rows. See this for more: http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/23505-uitableviewcell-background-image.html

and if you wanted each row to have its own background color, you could change it the same way?

No really. If you want to set a different view for the background, see the setBackgroundView method in the BT_screen_menuList.m file, not the table-view-cell file. UITableViews and their relationship to their UITableViewCell objects (each row) is a complex thing that most folks don't understand. Do a little homework and research on how the cells are created, when they are created, when they are reused, etc before tying to modify to much. I think you'll be surprised at how much complexity there is in making 'simple list.'

Would this be the same approach to take to try and get alternating colors or shades on a menu list? I've seen that in some apps to help make longer lists easier to read. Also as a request for the v1.5 if there is any way to do an event listing for a list of calendar items. It seems these are done slightly different in Rss feeds so that they can incorporate the date. Web Mozilla and other web rss seems to display the date ok for a calendar item. I read Apple prefers these to be treated as events. May be too complex but would be useful.
