Exporting tracking information

I know we have the map that shows where our apps have been accessed. Is their any way to export that information so I can use it in my marketing reports?

Hi in Fl. Not with v1.4. In v1.5 (Early Adopter only) you can use a custom reportToCloudURL that allows you to capture this information on your backend. The idea behind the map in v1.4 is a 'simple' view of where things are being used. However, we totally understand how important analytics can be and that's a big part of allowing you to decide where (and what) the phone reports. Get on the Early Adopter list if you're not already and look into the reportToCloud URL in the app's Core Properties.

I am on the Early Adopter list. Unfortunately you don't have 1.5 for droid yet. My two apps are droid based since apple takes so long to approve. I decided to forgo having an apple app for the time being. In my market droid seems to be taking over the marketplace as we have numerous providers offering lots of different handsets running droid and have a bit of a droid price war going on at the moment. While apple phones are available only at a handful of stores.

We are continuing to work on the Android version of 1.5 and the features in the iOS version will be available in the Android version too. Becuase the apps you make are yours to keep, you're free to do whatever you want with the source-code, including modifying it. Depending on how important the stats are, you could hire a developer to make some changes to track usage information on your end with your existing v1.4 app. Not sure what else to advise.

I am ok with waiting for 1.5 for droid. I will survive. Thanks for all the help David.
