sorry - need to ask question again (iOS) forcing app to load splash screen on open

hi I cant locate the answer to this question in the forum - sorry but I need to ask it again..... I want to force my app to open at the splash screen whenever it's re-opened. Currently, it starts up where you left it. Someone answered this for me a while back, but I can't locate it. Sometime, when you have the spare time :-) could you include an option in the forum to show your questions - I'd be able to locate it that way. thanks!!

Hi basement. I think I gave you the answer before, but it may have been another BT user. Go to your BT_info.plist file 1. In Xcode- Add a new row and select “Application does not run in background” (or type “UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend”) and then toggle the checkbox or 2. In a text editor- Add a new row and insert 'UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend' and set it’s value to 'Yes' Hope that helps. By the by, your app will still show with the other apps still multi-tasking. It will just cause the app to reload when reopened.

FYI for anyone else wanting this.... UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend needs to be set to boolean not string in the BT_info.plist doc.

I apologize. I forget that some folks here are coming from non-coding backgrounds. Boolean is the only option that will give you yes/no, or a check box. Thought I was clear, but I will remember in the future to give clearer, more concise directions.

:-) no problem..... I've dabbled in code, but don't have the time (or patience) to learn it as well as I should!
