Single-Sign-On (SSO) to Facebook, BT v. 1.4 on iOS

Hi, I am reading https://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/mobile/ and what I gather is that once a user is logged in to Facebook on an iOS device (iPod Touch 3rd gen in my case), perhaps using the official Facebook app, he shouldn't need to type his login and password again when signing in to a Facebook mobile app (buzztouch's Share On Facebook screen). This is what they call Single-Sign-On (SSO). Unfortunately, I always need to type my login and password in the Share On Facebook screen (I am talking about BT v.1.4). Interestingly, SSO works fine in the same app on my Android phone (HTC Desire HD with Android 2.2). Any idea what is wrong with SSO on the iOS ??? Cheers, Piotr

In fact, the Connect to Facebook button on the Share on Facebook screen doesn't work on my devices (iPod and iPad) at all, but... it works fine in the iPhone Simulator. Really don't know what to think about it. I haven't yet submitted the Facebook app I created for my app to the Facebook apps directory, but I guess it's not relevant cause the sharing does work fine on the iOS Simulator and a real Android device. I have already submitted my app to App Store for review... Will it work on users' devices? Should I be optimistic or cancel the submission?

Gosh, it's started working all of a sudden... I don't know why but I'm happy :)

Glad it's working out. However, I agree that if a user has logged into the native iOS Facebook app, they shouldn't have to re-log-in in your buzztouch. Don't remember how this is implemented ;-) A few other Facebook and Twitter imrpovements are in the works so not sure if any changes are going to be made with the current setup. We're also looking into 'get social' - a cool add on that makes the sharing functions much better. We may end up going that route too. Not sure. See this for more info: http://www.getsocialize.com/
