All mp3 files play except my own, what am i doing wrong?

When I have my project open in x code, I drag a mp3 file into sound folder. Then I can see it there. But when I try use my sound it does not work. Is there something else that i need to do? I have been trying all day and I get no help from other sound topics. I do not get it. Is there something to do? How and where do I drag the sound file to get it right!?

Is this a sound effect or a sound like a streaming audio sound? a) Drag the sound file into the BT_Sounds folder IN XCODE, not in the folder you downloaded. 'Add it to the Xcode project' b) If this is a sound effect file (and not background audio or streaming audio) add it to the list of sounds the app pre-loads when it first launches. Sound effect files need to be inintilized, 'prepared to play' before they will work. Look at BT_Config > [youappname]_appDelegate.m around line 854, add your sound-effect to the loadSoundEffects list.
