pausing a quiz (iOS)

I've set up a pause screen to stop the quiz in case someone needs to, but when I hit the back button from the pause page, instead of returning me to the quiz where I left it, I get three buttons come up: show scoreboard/try again/quit. It's like it thinks I finished the quiz. Is there a way to return to the quiz without having to start again? If not, I'll simply remove the pause button, but I thought it would be a handy thing to have. Title Comments sorry, another question...
