BT_Screens > BT_screen_splash.m Add this: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:TRUE animated:FALSE]; in the viewWillAppear method. Should work.

I copy and past your line in BT_Screens > BT_screen_splash.m But i don't delete status bar. I don't understand where i must paste your line in viewWillAppear. I see a similar line in viewWillAppear

The viewWillAppear method in BT_screen_splash.m will look like this: //view will appear -(void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated{ [super viewWillAppear:animated]; [BT_debugger showIt:self:@viewWillAppear]; //flag this as the current screen BT_appDelegate *appDelegate = (BT_appDelegate *)[[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate]; appDelegate.rootApp.currentScreenData = self.screenData; //hide status bar [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:TRUE animated:FALSE]; } ###### IMPORTANT The forum removes the quotation marks, be sure to include them in your code.

Lets do this: Send the BT_screen_splash.m file to info 'at' buzztouch.com. We'll adjust it then send it back ;-)

Oops, I totally forgot about this! As it turns out, adjusting the status bar setting in the BT_screen_splash.m had no effect, like you found out! Instead, I had to add an entry to the BT_info.plist file. I sent you an updated version in your email. Use that one instead. All I did is added a UIStatusBarHidden entry at the top. You'll see it. Because your theme has status bar hidden to YES the status bar will be hidden on all screens. Sorry to foget about you!

Hi David, Any chance you could make this plist entry public? I'm having a hard time getting rid of the status bar too!
