I just made an app, I've downloaded the codes but don't know how to make it work, any advice?

It's a very simple app with 1 main menu screen, then 2 sub menus which lead to 2 single images. I've downloaded the source codes for it but I'm unsure what to do next. I started watching the videos. It looked easy enough so after 5 mins watching video I tried to find/ use the simulator but couldn't get it done. Going back to the vids again now.
