Willing to pay for a BT Apple App Guru to walk me thru entire Apple Compile & Submission Process because I want to KNOW it! ;)

Hello fellow BT'ers! It is a GREAT day. I was wondering if there was a fellow BT'er who has the Apple iOS process down to a T so they can walk me through it via a one on one webinar or would be willing to create some video tutorials for me? I have successfully created Android apps and got them onto my phone. Several times as a matter of fact so I believe I'm good there. For some reason the Android part of all this comes easy to me. I just need to pay the $25 so I can begin to submit them to the Android market. I have successfully created an Apple iPhone app, got it to compile in Xcode, got it installed on MY phone but tried to get the app installed on a second device (friend's iTouch) but couldn't. It kept saying the device wasn't registered. I am almost afraid (grins) of trying this all over again because of how much hair I pulled out the first time so I was wondering if there was anyone who would be willing to set aside some time to walk me through the whole process of getting the Apple app compiled, tested on my device THEN submitted to the app store. Don't ask me how I did it the first time as I literally winged it while reading forum posts here and on the App Developer Portal. I do have a developer's license/account as I paid the $99 already and was approved for that so I'm good there. Just need help with UNDERSTANDING the compiling, testing and submission to apple for app approval process. Thank you for reading this and if you're interested please email me here with details of what you're willing/capable of and how much for your AWESOME assistance with this: [email protected] Again I can set up a one on one webinar and record it on my end if you can not create video tutorials for me. Shoot at this stage in the game I'm close enough to getting this that maybe even a PDF step by step guide with a few screen shots would help. Again I would be willing to pay for this. I am NOT balling out of control or rich by any means but want to respect your time for helping me. p.s. If any BT'ers know of some other resources where I can learn what I need please send me the URL to those resources. Believe me I have gone through this entire forum twice scanning for what I believe would be helpful posts and created a text file of URLs and topics for myself. I am not lazy in anyway or giving up. I've just spent a lot of time on this already and was hoping someone can assist me by being a personal guide. p.s.s. I want to KNOW this stuff so I can (A) be independent and more importantly (B) help others who may be where I was, where I am and where I hope to be! Thank you J

Did you invite your friend to register on testflightapp? If so, you will have to export the user device info from the dashboard into the Apple Developer portal, specifically the Provisioning Portal under devices....then add that device to the app profile, download and add it to Xcode....again. If your friend did not use testflightapp you can add it manually which is a pain because you need to know the UDID by hooking it up to the computer and copying it from iTunes. TFA is the easiest way :)

Hello Everest11 thank you so much for the quick response. I did invite my friend and told them to open up the email from their device. They did and they show up in my TestFlight account but when trying to install the app it didn't work as it stated the not registered device error. Now I thought I followed the instructions (couldn't say from where developer portal or TFA support site) in doing what you said above BUT I will try it again per your instructions. If I can just get this sucker to install via Ad-Hoc sites like TFA for now I'd be beyond stoked! My next thing is to get an app submitted and approved for the app store. Thanks again for taking the time to help, guide and teach. You, David and all the others make this community ROCK!!! J

:) When you click on a user in the dashboard you will see their device info...where it says Export click and save to your desktop. Next go to the ADP ---> Provisioning Portal ---> Devices ---> Upload Devices

Then go to either the Development or Distribution provisioning profile you created and check off your friend's device in the list and download the new profile to add to Xcode.

Once again Everst11 thanks for looking out for me and others who may be where I am. I SERIOUSLY need to try and create a Quick Start guide for myself or checklist ha ha! I will NOT let this beat me. Too much at stake. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to move ahead in life and it all begins with BT and the BT community members such as yourself. God bless you and yours for your patience and understanding. J

Update... got the iPhone app to finally load onto several devices via TFA! So happy. Next move is to submit the app to Apple for review and hopefully acceptance. I'm going to go over their submission guidelines and then GO FOR IT! Wish me well!! Thanks again to everyone for all their help, guidance and generosity of your time, knowledge and experience. It is appreciated. J
