Cant change background color in image gallery.

Hello! This is odd. I cant seem to change the background color in the gallery I´m working on. I have tried to change the background colors in the Advanced Gallery Properties->Screen Background Color, from black (#000000) to white (#FFFFFF) using the hexidecimalvalues but nothing happens. I have also tried to change the Solid Color Transparency with differnt values but nothing changes. Am I doing something wrong here or is it something else?. Version: 1.5 Target: iphone/ipad BR/Stefan

Update: I have succeeded in changing the background color in BT_screen_images.m at lines 62, 70 and 85 but what´s happening is that the background get changed to white now, but the pictures is wrapped/embedded with a black top and bottom margin. So when swiping I see a glimpse of my white background... *sobbing*

Hi. I looked at your latest v1.5 app. Both the Global Theme and the Image Gallery have #FFFFFF (white) set as the background color. Set this to #000000 for black. Should work.

Hello David. Thanks for your input. But thats what I want. I want it to be white but it´s not ( in the gallery that is). It´s not a biggie since I can redesign the app to go with a black theme, but it would be nice if the white background settings would kick in. /Stefan

Ah... didn't realize what you meant. The UIImageView that holds the image does have a black background set in the code (hard-coded) but the white should over-ride it. BT_screen_images.m defaults to a black backgound on line 70: [self.view setBackgroundColor:[UIColor blackColor]]; But, the white in the control panel should override this.

I have changed that line to [self.view setBackgroundColor:[UIColor whiteColor]]; but no luck.

GOT IT!!! Whoo Hoo. You can re-download or adjust a few things. The issue was a combinatin of a few things. These are the changes. a) BT_screens > BT_screen_images.m > pagingScrollView.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; THIS WAS SET TO BLACK, YIKES. It should be clear so color in control panel shows. b) BT_Objects > BT_zoomingScrollView.m > [UIColor blackColor] is in three places. Change these to [UIColor clearColor]; Same thing as a), they were covering up the underlying view! Huge find...thanks. I'm thinking that most folks want black as the background color for a gallery but it's only a matter of time until somebody would struggle with this. You may also want to remove your whitebackround.png image you set in the gallery. I'm thinking you did this to try to fix-it ;-)
