However, unless you undersand Java and the Android SDK, changing these usually leads to broken apps. The home-screen image size and position is in the res//layout/act_home.xml file. Not sure what buttons you're asking about? The apps icon is in the drawable folder. Comments all the layout files are in the layout directory in Eclipse.
