Another Quiz question - time (iOS)

in the scoreboard, it gives the time that I did the quiz in GMT - how can I make it show local time? for example, we're GMT-5 at the moment, thanks

Yikes...good one. There isn't a way in the control panel to adjust the timezone for a quiz scoreboard. Probably should be. Kinda tricky on our end to implememnt this. However..if you can provide your ow Scoreboard URL you could do this? The idea behind providing your own Scoreboard URL is that you first 'get' the results, add them to a database...then...output the latest scores. In the default configuration this is all we are doing. When we show you the results we're formatting the date on the server side and sending it to the phone. Because we are sending it to the phone, it is formatted already - the phone doesn't do this which is why it would be tough to get the phone to change it to a local value. Added to the list.

No sorries...not a big deal. Lets do this as a temporary work-around. Because the backend is providing the date I can make it change the format for ONE app pretty easy so I'll need the app name. Next, I'll need how you want it to look. Just post a sample date. This is a work-around for the one app and will not apply to any other apps you create. We can't get into a situation were we have a long-list of apps with different date formats on the scoreboard. We'll need to get the option in the control panel so you and we don't need to horse around each time. Funny. Post the app's name and the sample date format and I can easily get it adjusted for THIS app. This should be fine for now ;-)

thanks! It's called Canada could you make the time say EST so for example, if it was 6pm GMT, could it be made to say 1pm EST? That will help anyone in our timezone, although Canada takes up 6 timezones, everyone will be able to work out what the time is for them from an EST time.
