Custom Map in Buzztouch App

Hi, I was just wondering, is there anyway to customize the map experience with in an app created by Buzztouch? For example, I want to create an Amusement Park app, but I want a custom image overlay of the park. Is there anyway to do that? Or, is there anyway to include CloudMade in my app?

Don't nkow CouldMade so can't comment there (will look at it when I get a chance). Maps are tough to customize. It's not technically difficult, it's tough past Apple's approval process. Sure it's done all the time, just ads some complexity. The idea with customzing the map is to create a UIIMageView and add an image to this new view. Next, add this view to the screen as a sub-view 'after' the map has been added. In english, ad the view on-top of the map. The difficulties come in when it's time to intercept the touch events on the map. If your new overlay view is not strategically located and configured it will intercept the touch events and the map won't get them. This means no map interactivity. That's the challenge. I'm thinking there's a bunch of online example of how to customize a UIMap (google it) but haven't looked recently. When you figure out the basics you'll want to work with the BT_screen_map.m and add your sub-views after this line: [self.view addSubview:mapView]; about line 102
