If i remove the permissions lines in the manifest for these is that enough or should I also remove the layouts? Will it run then? If it won't install, then you'd have to remove those lines from the manifest file. That should be enough. If it installs, but simply won't run, that's another issue, and we'd need more data to understand what's going on. In any event, it's cool to remove things from the manifest file that your app doesn't need, like telephony and GPS. You can leave the layouts...no problems there.
