Insert an Map with included GPX track?

Hallo community, I'm new here, solved some of the tutorials and now I'm asking me: is there an way or plugin to layout my dreams with the help of Buzztouch... I want to publish a collection of touristic tracks with the help of an App. The tracks are available in the GPX-format. I need to include an map for erery tour containing this GPX-track as overview. But if I'm looking for this, I only find ways to show Maps including pins for locations. Is there a way to show tracks too? It's not the goal of this app to use the gpx for guiding and showing the way. I mean it's OK to give the user an download link for the gpx to feed their preferred Outdoor App. Purpose of my App will be to describe thid trips and to give some tips and hints ... Thanks for reading and your answers... Jens

Welcome to bt! There was instruction on this about a year ago I believe. In fact it's on your website @mark. http://www.btugwiki.com/index.php/Google_maps_routes I was researching this at the time and it explains how to use gpx with buzztouch Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for your answers so far! I'll try the linked way to create such an Google Map. For Outdoor-Use Google Maps are not useful (for my overview this is OK). I would prefer Openstreetmaps. I have to learn more about BT, so I could try to mirror my knowledge about "normal HTML" in BT to include OSM-Maps in "normal" Websites and try out. So I should use an HTML/Text-Page with some Source-Content (to include an iFrame or so)?

Hallo & Thanks so far. @mysps: The 2nd way is is interesting, but it's enought to use 1st link from you. Thanks for finding them for me/us! But there is a new question: If I use such an - lets call it iFrame - I have to declare an fixed height and width. Thats OK, but is there a programmer with a meaning about this? We use Google API 2.2 V8, but there is 4.x on the market. We do this, to be compatible to as much as possible devices. In this way: What size fits into most devices ?!?! Or shoule I define a Menu 'Small Map' and also an 'Large Map'? Thanks for reading :-)

While searching image related themes in the forum I found out: To use 640x___ seems to be a good value. For portrait this could be 640x960, IPhone5 supports 640x1136 (minus Layout-Menu and Top bar). So I'll try to use the good old 4:3 format, which results in 640x480 :-) Jens
