Map pins of bottom of map

When loading some pins look like they are slide off the bottom of the map. On the larger iPad screen instead of zooming in on the U.S. it zooms in on the bottom of the map at the Falkland Islands where there are no points. There are no visible pins at the bottom. Tried doing half the list and it works and tried the other half and it works. Any ideas? Thanks for any suggestions!!
