another post for this subject: file not dowloaded yet

Good Morning BTWorld, greetings from Barcelona! I've installed my first "test" BT application on my LG P-970 (Android 2.2.2) and I'm getting the message "file not dowloaded yet" again and again. The "files" that haven't been downloaded are actualy nothing but simple text. The app is basically a lot of short text stories. I've used the "Menu Simple" and in each row there is a "Custom HTML/Text" Plugin, with some text inside (copy/paste). Some of the stories have been correctly dowloaded but most of them won't download. In SDK Simulator I get the same result. I'm really excited about starting using BuzzTouch and become a BT member as I've got lot of ideas for apps that I think can be easily created with BT. I have almost any skills and knowledge about Code so I've been stucked before in some previous steps creating this test app with BT, but fortunatelly all could be solved serching for previous topics here in the Forum. All the other features of the app are working fine, as expected, in my device. Any clue what could be missing/I'm doing wrong? Many thanks in advance Pedro (Barcelona)

Hi @pimentazores, Can you share your link or did you embed into the html plugin? Try a project clean then a refresh to see if that helps any. Did you include the html page in your Android project and name it lowercase? LA

HI LA, I am not using any link or a html page in my app. The reason why I'm using the html/text plugin is because it seemed to me to be the best option for the app purpose: about 50 short stories (simple text), so I just copy and paste each story. I don't want to use Word plugin because it doesn't seem nice opening microsoft word logo each time i want to open one of the stories in app. I've tried before the clean&refresh as well as some other possible solutions I've seen here in Forum, successfully. Thanks for the quick reply! Cheers Pedro *pimentazores

@pimentazores, Sometimes the copy and paste in the html plugin editor can act a little funny. You using 50 different screens for each story or just one? If you tried it as a link, does it work? Just trying to troubleshoot. LA

Hi LA, I'm using one screen for each story. What do you mean about the link? Like, having the text stored somewhere ang having a link pointing to this document? Tks again Pedro

How about HTML Pro plugin? If your app is a collection of short stories, I believe you could create each story as its own html doc. and the plugin would allow you to create a menu - to show each title as a taqble of contents. The title could link to the story/html doc within your app. You could find out if this would work by checking out the "how to" for this plugin. Or use the html doc plugin, make a html page for each story and embed them in your app. Text/html will not add a lot of size to the app and each page will load instantly if embedded.
