Splash screen...

I can not get my splash screen to show in the stimulater without it showing totally huge and not showing the whole splash screen. I resized as advized in TAC and the drag and drop into image folder in xcode abd its still huge! Is itpossiblethat it will show up regular on regular device and thats justa simulator issue?

Did you do a rebuild with the new graphic. I would delete the old graphic out of xcode and drag and drop. then do a clean and rebuild

Sorry to do this to you, but I gotta say - your Freudian slip made me laugh: ... show in the stimulater... Not a simulator issue - it will be the same on an actual device. Try @jvalley's suggestion. Be sure your image is sized according to iPhone specifications.

Ok, it gets crazier and crazier. I DELETED the splash screen out of the image folder in xcode just for kicks and trouble shooting. I CLEANED and BUILD the app and do you know that same oversize splash screen is STILL THERE when I load the simulator! Somebody help me out so I don't think my mac is demon possesed!

Sometimes XCode keeps the link to the file on your computer, even though it doesn't show in XCode anymore. It's screwy like that. The 'clean' should have worked. But you may try downloading your source code again.

Sometimes data is stored in ~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.0/Applications/ or its respective version. Check here as well.
