Hi all, I have question about open my app with Xcode 4 instead of using xcode 3. every time I Download the source-code for my app it is opened with Xcod 3 not 4. Can you explain for me how I can opene my app with Xcode 4, please? I searched in apple website but I cannot understand how.Also, I serearched in this website and do not find answer. I found question about if it is possible to opend it with Xcode 4 instead of 3 and he got the answer yes but how I did not know. Example: I have two icons in my Dock on my mac. One for Xcode 3, one for Xcode 4. b) After Xcode opens, use the main menu and choose File > Open c) Navigate to the file you want to open (wherever you are saving your downloaded source-code). basement Aspiring developer Posts: 488 Reg: Apr 07, 2011 Ontario 4,880	05/19/11 03:51 AM (14 years ago) you can make it open in xcode 4 all the time by selecting the xcodeproj file, hitting apple-i (get info) and in the open with section choose xcode 4, then hit the change all button (this is in snow leopard, but also seems to be the same in 10.5 and 10.4). Now any xcode projects should open in xcode4 rather than 3.
