Will iAds work after submitting?

I've downloaded my app from buzztouch after the Schooner release. Compiled it and sent for an update to Apple. The update was approved. My questions are: 1- Will iAds work if I activate them now?(without downloading & compiling & sending to Apple again) 2- Will only activating from the advanced settings(for the screen that I want them to show) work? 3- Do I have to add some line of codes from xcode? If someone ever done this, please give us(I think there're other that are curious like me) a basic step-by-step walkthrough of the process. Thanx.

Ninjaselo, I believe that 1. No, I think the iAds are only available when you are submitting to Apple. You could contact Apple to see if they could do something for you. 2. No, ads are directly controlled by Apple 3. Since Schooner, you shouldn't need to add any code to make this work The app, being compiled after the Schooner release, has the capabilities to display and play nice with iAds but Apple controls the population of the ads and the payment, so unless Apple connected the app and has made the ads available, your app will not be showing apps.

You're both right. No re-submit should be necessary if you app has it's own unique Apple Id. Some apps share Apple Id's and use a Wild-Card identifier. So, if you're app has a unique app id, you should be able to 'turn on' ads in your Apple Developer settings. What they make you agree to and submit to them for approval depends alot. Some developers have no trouble and some have trouble. There are lots of things to consider, like payments, contracts, etc. (all with Apple). Look at the iAds info on the Apple portal, you should be able to 'turn them on' without much trouble.

I think my app uses a Wild-Card identifier. What should I do to get an unique identifier?
