image title position bug on ipad

Guys, I think there is an issue with the position of the image title (description) on iPads. When you specify the position as bottom, it still stays at the top on the Ipad. Also check the font size. It works fine on the iPod Touch and iPhone though. I will test/refresh the source on 1.5 again to see if that helps and report back.

@ Miereter: Can't seem to duplicate this on the simulator or the device. Of course we 'believe you' and are interested in seeing what may be happening. If you can't get it to work...post the app name ;-)

Hey guys. It works fine now. I deleted the app, re-downloaded the source and now it works on first install. It is almost as if it would not refresh properly until the old cache from app was full cleared. Anyway, it works fine and love this feature. Thanks. Sometimes with 1.5 Schooner in the simulator while testing a gallery slideshow, where each image has a title description of for example font size 12, and displayed at bottom,...instead of the image i get the no cloud access icon with the title..weird. No amount of refreshing cures this persistently, yet sometimes the images display just fine. (this happens on simulator, ipod and ipad sometimes) APP: Mobile 101, under artists, try any of the first 3, sometimes the images does not show, only the title.

David, would you please take a look at my APP. It really does have an issue not displaying all images in a gallery sometimes. Here is and example. 2011-05-19 11:23:33.331 mobile101exhibit[905:fc57] BT_fileManager: saveImageToFile: phoca_thumb_l_a1_16.jpg 2011-05-19 11:23:40.216 mobile101exhibit[905:fa8b] BT_fileManager: File does exist in cached directory: phoca_thumb_l_a1_16.jpg I only see the description and the no cloud access icon, yet others before and after it displays fine. It seems to be an issue related to cache think it has the image when it does not. Buzztouch schooner on simulator or device. Thanks so much. APP: Mobile 101, under artists, try any of the first 3, sometimes the images does not show, only the title.

I was able to duplicate the problem. I see exactly what you're asking about. This image: http://www.101exhibit.com/site/images/phocagallery/thumbs/phoca_thumb_l_flaming cock 40 x 32 oil on canvas 2010 for web-1.jpg and a few others like it fail to download / save. I looked at the JSON data for the images. None of the images with SPACES in their file-names download. I'm not sure why but this is the case. The problem 100% duplicatable and happens every single time. I'm guessing iOS is struggling to understand how to 'save' the file because it can't figure out the file name. Example: phoca_thumb_l_flaming cock 40 x 32 oil on canvas 2010 for web-1.jpg is not a valid file-name in most computer systems. Can you rename the image without the spaces? If you cannot, or if this is too difficult...I can think of a few ways to get around this but none of them are super-easy. Will take some code hacking ;-)
