incorporating iAD

I am making a small app to promote a compilation album I'm putting together to raise funds for the Cancer Society - how do I get iADs into my app, and how would I ensure that payment from monies raised would go directly to the Cancer Society? Or would I need to receive the money myself and then donate it? Sorry if this is a dumb question, this is my first foray into iADs. iOS, buzztouch 1.5)

I think - to put it in you just select it per screen in your app settings (1.5 app only) On the Apple site you agree to the iAD terms & conditions. On the Apple site you put in whatever details ALL iAD monies earned will go to. I have one just done, with Apple in review. Curious to see how it goes :) :)

I'm getting ready to do this with one of my apps as well. Curious if you can control where the iad shows up... are some on the bottom and some on the top or can you control this via iTunes Connect??

Not sure. When I tried this, I had an app with navigation tabs set up on the bottom of the screen. The ad appeared in the same place on every screen, on the lower part of the screen, the full screen width and just above the black navigation tab row.

The location of the ad is controlled by the buzztouch screen, not Apple. The content of the add is controlled by Apple. The native ad support, as you see it now is our first attempt and will probably need improved as we hear from folks. Basically, it works like this: When you compile your app and get it in the app store, Apple serves ads to it by referencing it's unique Apple App Id. When a screen loads, that has 'include ads' selected, it tries to load an Apple provided ad in the banner along the bottom of the screen. If Apple doesn't provide an ad (it takes awhile sometimes) the view will never appear. When an ad arives, it will fade-in.

Any tips on influencing the content of the ads? I hear you say apple controls the content but can we choose certain categories to exclude ie no tobacco and alchohol. Just starting on this too..

I have zero experience with controlling the actual content - maybe read up on the Apple site?
