blogger (iOS)

is there a better way to incorporate a blogger site into my app than using the rss feed? For example, when I click on a link in the feed, it opens the full blogger site including my twitter feed and all site headers etc, when I really only want the article to be shown with the option for people to add comments once they've logged in to blogger. thanks (ps the blog is in its initial stages, so if there's another blog site that works better, I'm happy to change.)

I don't know Blogger has templates optimized for mobile access. On my app I also use RSS feeds from my blog, and when clicking on a post, only my blog article shows without displaying the whole frontpage. I am using a blogsite based on WordPress, with a Plugin called WP-Touch. When accessing the blog from a mobile device it displays your blog-posts is an very clean way. I am hosting the website myself, but when you choose to host your blog at Wordpress.com, WP-Touch is automatically enabled. You can give it a free try... Peter

looks perfect, thanks for the info!! I'm curious to know whether ads appear when you view yours on your iphone - they do on mine, which is hosted by wordpress. If they don't appear in yours, then I'll move everything and host it myself.

No ads here (unless it's in the post itself).

weird! I don't see it on the desktop site, just on the mobile site: https://livingwithanangel.wordpress.com I tried changing themes to see if it was the theme, but it seems to be the same for any I try.

I see, weird indeed. I think it's the way wordpress.com implemented the WP-Touch functionality. On my (test) site (cissp.opinternet.info) I haven't got any ads and just using the free version of Wp-Touch.

apparently it's something that wordpress does. If it doesn't appear on the self-hosted version, then that's where I'll be going!
