Button image shows ? = iOS

I have placed images in the BT_Images folder... presently I have put several 72x72px pngs for button images, but whn I set that filename - queue.png - in the button setting it comes up in my simulator as a ?. I have also set a background image for my overall theme and it does not showup - no ? though, just nothing but the background color I set. Obviously I am doing something wrong, though I can not figure out what.

You need to rebuild the app in your simulater/phone. If you have Xcode press Command+Enter. This in order to make the app refresh itself. BR/Stefan

Radmac- Also, when you place files into the project folders, do so by dragging and dropping into the project within Xcode, so they are properly connected in the coding.

@ Stefan: tried it, no luck. Is this different than hitting the refresh on the iphone in the simulator? I did both. I alos tried it in both simulator and xcode... seems only to do anything in xcode, is this right? @ erichopf: I have been dropping them right into xcode.

Stephan, it seems that only changes the view... in the menu under View>Editor>standard (that is the shortcut for this view)

If the software can't find the image you set in the control panel it will show you the ? Look at the console, it will show you were it's looking for the image. If you're using URL's, it will show you the URL. If you're using file names it will show you the file name along with a message like 'cannot find image.png in the xcode project' Get good at reading the console when debugging your app. We went through great pains to list lots and lots of useful information to the console to try to help you figure out what's happening with every screen load, image load, button click, etc.
