I believe you answered your own question. If the file is linked with a URL, the app needs to be connected the first time to download and will cache the info. You might want to put your photos within the app, if you want it to be a stand alone. If you want to be able to update and change the photos often, then it is best to us hosted images.

You can only do this with version 1.5. If your app is ver 1.4 then leave a post on their Facebook page to become an early adopter. If you are already using ver 1.5, then make your html document and put the name of the document in the html file name box as opposed to the html url box. When you make the html file and include images, there should be an option for images with your html editor software to make url relative to page location or something similar. In other words, instead of the url for the image being http://www.myimages.com/image1.jpg it will just be image1.jpg. I don't think it really matters where you put files in the buzztouch project, but I typically put these image files into the document folder with the html file because it just makes me feel better. Then remember to drag the html and images files into the project itself in xcode. I made you more confused didn't I?

Thanks a lot mutzy, it's actually starting to make sense :) i was looking in the 1.4 folders and couldn't find were i should place the images, i never downloaded the 1.5 project because i don't have Mac/Xcode, still waiting for the android 1.5 version to kick in :) one more question just to be sure, why not put the images in BT_images folder? if i put them there then i should probably root the url to: BT_images/image1.jpg? Thanks again David

David, BT is set up in such a way that you don't need to set direct paths. I put images in BT_Images folder, PDFs in the BT_Docs, and so on as I like order and knowing where they are. Mutzy likes having all connected files located together. Same outcome.
