I've been playing with 1.4 apps for listening to live audio feeds just using custom URL's that open and play in quick time. With 1.5 is there a way to play an audio stream inside the app, with a background image/app controls? Thanks! You could: a) Use a Streaming Audio screen in v1.5 which has the controls at the bottom with a backround image (like a band or album artwork) b) Use a background sound in Advanced Settings of most screens. However.. you may already realize this: These features are designed for streaming .mp3 content (file based streams) and not all provders give this option. This means if you're not running your own audio server you may or may not be able to pull it off. Give it a shot...post your findings. Comments Several ways.
