Issue compiling V1.5 app

I'm getting the following error while compiling my V1.5 app Code Sign error: The identity ' (5983Q59FXU)' doesn't match any valid certificate/private key pair in the default keychain I have selected my own code sign certificate which works to compile any other app. What's going on?

Could be lots of things going on. Like you said, Certificate / Signing errors a zero to do with the project / code your are signing and everything to do with the Code Signing Identity you setup in the Apple Developer Site. Tons of discussions about this online: Start here: http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/17999-profile-doesn-t-match-application-identifier.html

I'm not sure what else to add (other than the URL I posted in the previous remarks). Code-signing errors have nothing to do with your source-code, they have everything to do with your Provisioning Profile and it's relationship to your device and App Id. You could also see the Apple Developer Portal for more info about code-signing for a device.
