Differs from Reserved Bundle Identifier Error iOS

I am attempting to upload the binary to ITunes Connect using XCode4. I am getting this error in the validation process: Bundle identifier: com.whitebuffalosolutions.TheChristianMathematician differs from the reserved bundle identifier: TheChristianMathematician I tried several variations in the Identifier field: with caps, without caps, with the entire bundle identifier including the apple 10-digit alpha-numeric number in the front, and I have tried with an asterisk in the front of the bundle identifier. I can't find the entire bundle identifier in ITunes Connect for this app, I went to iTunes Connect to pretend to enter a new App ID, and the following choices came up, so I think I must have chosen the last one, since the capitalization fits: The Christian Mathematician - com.whitebuffalosolutions.thechristianmathematician ChristianMath - * ChristianMath - com.whitebuffalosolutions.TheChristianMathematician Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Is the validation process trying to compare the bundle identifier in XCode to what is in ITunes Connect or in a Provisioning Profile? Thank you so much!

I've been using XCode 3, but the bundle identifier has to match the one in the Itunes store. I made the mistake of putting the wrong one in the itunes store, and now have to adjust my apps info every time I update. Have you tried looking in the BTInfo.plist file? If you set the Identifier there to the same one on Itunes, should (crosses fingers) work. Good luck!

I have tried several variations in the Info.plist file. Part of my problem is that I don't remember what I entered in ITunes Connect, and can't find a way to recover that info in ITunes Connect. Would it matter that I have a different bundle name, ChristianMath, from the project name, thechristianmathematician, while the bundle identifier in ITunes Connect appears to be TheChristianMathematician (per my error reason)?

I found my problem. Instead of entering the bundle identifier in the correct way, (i.e. com.companyname.productname) I must have misunderstood the instructions and entered just the product name in iTunes. The error message was literally correct--all I had to do was change the bundle identifier to the product name given to me in the error reason. Here is the error I was getting in the validation process: Bundle identifier: com.whitebuffalosolutions.TheChristianMathematician differs from the reserved bundle identifier: TheChristianMathematician. All I had to do was change the bundle identifier to TheChristianMathematician. Now, I suppose I will get a rejection for an incorrect bundle identifier, since I didn't follow the protocol for creating it correctly in iTunes. Thank you!

I got a bundle identifier as com.bobology.com in the BT_info.plist file. Tried to change tie com.bobology.com to an app name i want to use but cannot run it when I change the BT_info.plist name.

Look on your itunes connect account. Under your app that you registered, you should have a bundle identifier that you created (you had to in order to register your app). Now, open your buzztouch project in Xcode, and look at the BT_info.plist file. It'll have a bunch of items (app name, version number, etc), and one of them will be the bundle indentifier. Change this so it matches the one in your itunes connect account. Good luck!

Make a new post then. Since this thread is 3 months old, I only saw it because it emailed me. Making a new post will get attention from others, and maybe some help.
