Partner to develop and compile for iPhone/Android Wanted

I am looking for a partner to develop with. Hopefully someone that can compile on Mac and Windows (already having a Apple / Android license is also a bonus). I also have a project in another development tools (flash cs5) that is about 75% complete. Contact me if you are interested and we can discuss some details.

Hi in Cincinatti: I saw this post yesterday and kinda kept an eye on it to see what replies you may get.. I see nobody has. Technology partners are super-duper tough to find these days, as you may already realize. I think this is mostly because many many developers consider their technical knowledge more 'valuable' than a partners design / sales / support skills and are better going at it alone. I (we at buzztouch) disagree with this idea and feel strongly that the best apps are coming from diverse teams of skilled professionals. Designer Skills, Sales and Account Skills, and Technical Skills are all necessary and partnerships are great way to do this. It's very very rare to find all these skills (at a high level) in the same person. We, around here, share these types of responsibilites among us and can't imagine doing any of this solo. Have you tried MeetUp.com? There are probably countless folks in your area that are also looking for partners. Maybe search for some meetups in your area and see what you find? Heck, if nobody has started one, you could always start a 'Mobile Biz Meetup' group yourself. I can assure you that there are hundreds of folks in Cinci. that are considering ways of leveraging the mobile internet and they all need partners. Just a matter of finding them ;-)

I agree with you. I have been in software development before working in game programming and it seemed most people wanted to work with a partner or partners, mobile development doesn't seem to be that way. I will probably focus on my other app in Flash CS5, as it can compile the IPA itself until I can find a used MAC to compile with. Though I think I will check out the meetup.com site and see what it has to offer.

Well, I almost finished my first Android app in Flash Builder 4.5, I am hoping the release in June will support ipa compiling. My Buzztouch apps I cant seem to get to compile with Eclipse, do you know if its possible to compile them in Flash Builder 4.5? as it is based on Eclipse?

I know nothing about Flash Builder 4.5 - zero, gave up Action Script and Flash many years ago. The BT apps you can't compile in Eclipse is troubling. Can you compile ANY Android apps in Eclipse? Literally thousands of these things downloaded and compiled without any problem. Lots and LOTS of problems getting Eclipse to play-nicely with the Android SDK but once you get it compiling Android apps, the BT download for your app will compile without error.

I haven't tried any other android apps as I don't have any others to try. I will try reinstalling tonight and try again maybe it's a install problem.

I tried reinstalling on my laptop but still can't get it to compile. I know it's probably a setting or something but I can't figure out why.

Start with the video with the Hello World app. The one that has zero to do with buzztouch. As you're well aware, you'll need to get Android apps to compile. It's an easy video for newcomers.
