iPad & iPhone image gallery 1.5 - only 1 input text field for both devices I think?

Hello, I think I must be still jet lagged & missing something :) I am making a 1.5 app for iphone & ipad. I've set up a quiz, and put in both small size and large size pictures for the quiz questions, all good. Now I want to put in an image gallery which will work on both iPad & iPhone. But in the image gallery where you type in your image names (will then drag them to xcode as normal) it only gives me one place to enter an image, not the two text fields that I think I need for the two different sized pictures (iphone size & ipad size). I could just be going mad as well though :) Thanks! Elaine.

Happy Mothers Day. You're not going mad. Image Galleries use the same image for both devices. The pinch-zoom effect works well with both screen sizes. There are some design considerations that related to the file size and dimensions of the images. Larger images look better but take longer to load if you're pulling them from a URL. Same goes for adding them to your project using image names. If you have lots and LOTS of them in your project the download size of the app from the App Store could get too big for most folks. Stuff you need to balance while you figure out the best approach. Taking mamma to brunch with the kids, hope others can do the same ;-)
