Free App to Paid App

I want to create a watered down Lite version of my app. But, I want people to be able to buy the full version from within the app. Is there a way to do that?

You would have to use In App Purchase which requires extra programming. There are some solutions out there and you may be able to find a programmer to do it for a reasonable price on elance or guru.

Also, as another option you could just create a link to the paid version within your app (maybe create a menu tab that goes to the iTunes url for the paid version)

Either way, from what Apple has told me in several phone calls you are on the right path to increase sales. Lite/Free versions get a lot of traffic and if you can implement IAP of extra content or paid versions of apps you should generate a consistent revenue.
