Android Phone for Testing

Can anyone recommend the best way to get an Android phone for testing? I have my own iPhone and iPad but don't want to get another phone number. I know Google sells unlocked ones but are there any better prices on the used market?

Go to any of the major service providers in your area (i.e. Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, T-mobile) and test your app on their dime. I have an Evo and regularly visit the Apple store to test iPhone apps. I'm not buying another phone until my Evo dies!!! LOL

Do you test before uploading to the iTunes store and if so how do you get the app on their phones to test it?

If you have access to a server you can do like I do to install apps out of market. Just upload your apk to the server and go to the url of where the app is on the phone and download it. IE http://www.yoururl.com/apk/yourapp.apk

also metropcs has an android phone for only 99 bucks. it's not top of the line but for all intent and purpose it works. but unless you're using flash plugins, the emulators work just fine for me on my mac. I have an EVO too but it's faster to just test it on the emulator.
